How to Reduce Meeting Room No-Shows

BLOG__How-to-Reduce-Meeting-Room-No-Shows_

Meeting room no-shows aren’t just an inconvenience – they can also be costly for your organization if you don’t keep them under control. A report from 2009 by Herman Miller showed that meetings cost companies between $30 million and $100 million per year. Studies show that an average of 40% of meetings are no-shows.  Meeting room no-shows take place when someone books a meeting and then cancels it but doesn’t cancel the room booking. As a result, unoccupied meeting rooms appear as reserved in the meeting booking system. Other employees who are looking for a meeting room may not find one available. A quick stroll around the office would lead them to determine that there are plenty of unused meeting rooms, yet none of them can be booked.

Why Branded Digital Meeting Room Signs Are Effective

BLOG__Why-Branded-Digital-Meeting-Room-Signs-Are-Effective

Digital meeting room signs, which consist of digital signage displayed outside of meeting rooms, enhance productivity by enabling employees to view meeting schedules at a glance and use touchscreens to book, extend, or cancel meetings on the spot. The benefits of digital meeting room signs don’t stop at the functional, however. Digital displays can also be used to enhance your office’s design and company image. Custom, branded digital signs impress visitors and ensure brand continuity across your office. A lot of digital signage comes with non-flexible templates that can only be tweaked slightly, maybe by changing the logo and a few colors. Huddle Rooms: Where Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork

BLOG__Huddle-Rooms-Where-Teamwork-Makes-the-Dreamwork

Collaboration is essential in today’s business environment. It enables teams to be quicker and more effective in achieving shared goals. Most traditional office environments are not conducive to collaboration, however. While cubicles can be helpful for allowing employees to shut out distractions and focus on the work at hand, they do not encourage collaboration by their very nature. That being said, open offices aren’t a great alternative either. Open offices have been popularized in recent years with the hopes that they would foster spontaneous collaboration, but studies have shown that open offices actually hurt productivity and even cause workers to take more sick days.  So, how can employers solve the collaboration problem? Huddle rooms are the answer.  Huddle rooms, also known as breakout rooms, are
